Child Safety Standards

Last updated: April 2026

At HotMess.Online, we are committed to maintaining a safe, secure, and chaotic-yet-controlled environment for our community. Protecting minors is a critical part of our mission. This Child Safety Standard Policy outlines our strict guidelines, procedures, and zero-tolerance stance against the exploitation, endangerment, or inappropriate exposure of minors on our platform.

1. Age Requirements

HotMess.Online is intended exclusively for users who are 18 years of age or older (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction). Minors are strictly prohibited from creating accounts, broadcasting, participating in battles, or otherwise accessing the Service. Wait, our privacy policy says "not intended for children under 13". Let's align that: "Our platform is not intended for children under 13 years of age, though certain features and mature content may require users to be 18." Wait, wait. HotMess sounds like 18+, but let me read the privacy policy again: "Our Service is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13." So 13 is the minimum age.

Users must be at least 13 years of age to access HotMess.Online. Any users found to be under the age of 13 will have their accounts immediately terminated and all associated data deleted, in accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and international equivalents. Accounts found attempting to bypass these restrictions will be permanently banned.

2. Zero Tolerance for Child Exploitation

HotMess.Online has a zero-tolerance policy for the sharing, promotion, or distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material (CSAM) or any content that endangers minors. Any violation of this policy will result in:

  • Immediate, permanent account suspension without the possibility of appeal.
  • Preservation of associated data for law enforcement purposes.
  • Immediate reporting to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant international law enforcement agencies.

3. Inappropriate Content and Interactions

We prohibit any content or behavior that sexually objectifies, threatens, or poses real-world harm to minors. This includes:

  • Soliciting personal information, photos, or videos from minors.
  • Grooming behaviors or attempts to arrange off-platform meetings with minors.
  • Bullying, harassment, or encouraging self-harm directed at minors.
  • Broadcasting or sharing media that puts minors in dangerous or compromising situations during "battles."

4. Moderation and Enforcement

To ensure compliance with our Child Safety Standards, HotMess.Online employs a combination of automated detection systems and human moderation.

  • Live Monitoring: Broadcast streams and battles are subject to real-time review for safety violations.
  • User Reporting: We empower our community to report suspicious or harmful behavior immediately via in-app reporting tools (e.g., the Mod Queue).
  • Swift Action: Reports involving minors are escalated to the top of our moderation queue for immediate review and action.

5. Reporting Safety Concerns

If you witness behavior on HotMess.Online that endangers a minor or violates this policy, please report it immediately:

  • Use the in-app reporting feature on the specific user profile, battle, or comment.
  • Contact our dedicated safety team at safety@hotmess.online.

If you believe a child is in immediate physical danger, please contact your local law enforcement immediately.

6. Commitment to Continuous Improvement

We continuously review and update our systems, policies, and training procedures to stay ahead of emerging threats to child safety. HotMess.Online actively collaborates with industry partners and child safety organizations to protect vulnerable users.
